Step 1) Complete the Casting Form – CLICK HERE
Step 2) Once we have discussed and confirmed the project I quickly go to work on creating and posting the casting breakdown and sides to casting platforms, agencies & talent, ready to receive self-tapes.
Step 3) When the self-tape submissions have arrived I will prepare them in a video gallery and send you a secure link to view submissions
Step 4) When selections for callbacks or bookings are confirmed, talent contracts are signed and returned
Step 5) Talent information is given to you ready for your production team to give wardrobe details and any other final instructions, and to send the callsheet to.

ABOUT ME

Welcome! I’m Vicky Johnston. I have been a freelance casting director since 2009. I have also worked for one of the fastest paced Talent Agencies in the Western States as their VIP Booker. My experience is quite unique because I have worked in every aspect of managing talent, working on-set and with other casting directors, producers, guiding talent with onboarding into the industry and working with incredible seasoned talent.

Early on, I mostly cast principal talent for independent media for local businesses and productions in Utah. Over time, and to meet the needs of my clients I have cast talent throughout the USA. I now cast globally using casting platforms that have an international reach. This has allowed me to cast projects no matter where the shooting location is. Projects are cast remotely using self-tape auditions and online platforms. I generally operate out of Utah but cast talent for any location.

I have coached groups of talent and given one on one coaching to help talent with their acting career. I know all aspects of the major film industry casting platforms such as Casting Networks and Actors Access and advise talent on the best way to utilize these platforms.
