Self-taped video auditions are time efficient and cost effective. And that’s where I come in. Once I know your project and what you are looking for I go to work on finding the right principal talent. Submissions are self-taped and submitted online. A secure link is sent to you to view talent in a video gallery format along will all relevant information that you need to decide on the perfect talent for your production. I take care of all your casting needs from start to set, or I can provide services à la carte.

ABOUT ME

Welcome! I’m Vicky Johnston. I have been a freelance global casting director since 2009 and worked for one of the fastest paced Talent Agencies in the North Western States as their Global Booker. My experience is quite unique because I have worked in every aspect of managing talent, working with other casting directors, producers, guiding talent with onboarding into the industry and working with incredible seasoned talent.

Early on, I mostly cast principal talent for films, TV commercials, corporate videos, industrial, educational, promotional, shorts, web videos, print, voice-over and independent media for local businesses and productions in Utah. Over time, and to meet the needs of my clients I have cast talent in other States and internationally. This has allowed me to cast projects no matter where the shooting location is. Projects are cast remotely using self-tape auditions and online platforms. I operate out of Utah but cast talent for any location.

I have coached large talent groups and given one on one coaching to help talent with their acting career. I know all aspects of the major film industry casting platforms such as Casting Networks and Actors Access and advise talent on the best way to utilize these platforms.
