A FEW NOTES FROM ME

As a casting director I don’t normally teach workshops but after years of casting through self-tape I thought it was high time to give you some formal training on what a casting director and the client are looking for. I know many of you have been waiting a long time to learn some of the finer points in giving an impressive self-tape so you can get cast more. We have many films being produced in Utah and now is the time to ‘tighten those boot straps’. I want to see more Utah talent on the screen.

I’m going to share inside tips and what goes on behind the scenes of casting. Things that I feel actors need to know in order to help you move forward in your craft. This workshop is so much more than a casting audition workshop. It’s going to be an extravaganza of education with keynote speakers such as Director T.C. Christensen, Film Publist Michelle More, Voice coach Linda Bearman, Private Acting Coach Joseph Batzel and maybe a few more surprise guests. You won’t want to miss this incredible event. I have thought very carefully about what would help actors rise to a professional level. This is going to be invaluable information that will help you navigate from being a newbie to a well sought after actor.
