Casting Fees
Casting service fees are fairly simple and based on time. Base fee is a minimum of $450 which covers your first day of casting services. Fees are subject to change or can be negotiated.
Hourly
- Hourly rate after the base fee of $450
Half day
- Half day rate is based on 4 hours of services. Save $30 ($62.50/hr). Offered after the $450 base rate
Day rate
- Base rate minimum. Full day based on 8 hours of services in a day. Save $110 ($56.25/hr). Additional hours per day are charged at the hourly rate of $70.

Things to know
Casting Deposit
The casting deposit is $250. This is charged before commencing casting services. Balance is due upon completion of services. Completion is usually once all talent contracts are signed. An invoice will be emailed to you and is paid online by credit/debit card.
Billing information
Talent agencies will bill your production company unless you are using a payroll service. Please have this information ready at the time of booking talent. Talent fees are due upon receipt unless otherwise agreed upon. Most talent may have you sign a voucher or booking agreement to verify work performed.
Additional Talent Costs
Please consider and factor in the following elements when hiring talent.
For Union productions add +10% to the day rate
For non-union productions add + 20% to the day rate and buyout fee
How will you be using the media?
How long do you intend to use the media for?
Is there a buyout fee, and for how long?
Are talent needed for fitting?
Are there rehearsal days?
Are you covering travel and accomodation expenses for out of town talent?
What are you offering for travel or hold days (day out of days)? This is a negotiable rate that is often between a half-day and full day rate.
NOTE: Talent day rates are typically in line with the standard SAG-AFTRA day rates.
Availability
Please contact me as early as possible to ensure availability. There are busy seasons where I can be booked for an extended period of time. For smaller productions please allow a minimum of 2 weeks of active casting time before the first shoot date commences. More time will be needed to cast larger productions.
Talent Contact & Specs
Contact information and talent specs will be provided once booking is confirmed. Be sure to note the talent cell phone and their agency contact information should a situation arise and you need to contact the talent urgently. In consideration of the talent, please have a contact person from your production company for emergencies.

Features
I typically do not cast for Background talent, unless you are casting principal talent already and need a handful of Extras. Minimum day rate for Background talent is $250+ agency fee each. Please use a Background casting service if you need more than 10 Extras, unless we have discussed otherwise.
